What a great end of the semester party! It was even better than our last party! This time there was less food but Mr.Arkin brought us some cake which was great news and just made up for the lack of food. Even if there was no food, I still would've enjoyed it because Mahak and I just sat there for the whole period watching America's funniest home videos which was hilarious. Mahak and I died on the floor of laughter! Jerry, Grace and Kevin came along later and watched some of the videos and laughed along with us. Ah, what fun times that I'm going to miss....(sad). I am going to miss everyone that I met and especially Mr.Arkin who showered us with his vast knowledge on Computer Science ( I am using big words to sound better but telling the truth). I am going to miss everyone and I am so proud of myself as well as others for learning so much! Good job everyone and good luck with your exams and semester 2! I hope to see everyone soon!

Thursday
Sorry guys but I forgot yesterday again! So I am going to tell you all what happened today!
Yesterday Mahak and I got a lot of work done after the big incident with not being able to open the file. But, at the end of the day we realized that Mahak had more trouble with finishing it so we decided that we would do it all over again at Mahak's house after school so we would be able to hand it in for today (Friday). But, my mom called me later and told me that I couldn't go because I didn't have a ride. After, a long argument, Mahak and I decided on an agreement where Mahak's mom would drop me off at their house and I would take the bus all the way from Markham and Steeles. Sure, it was a long way but I had to if I wanted to get work done.
But, we did get a lot of work done including eating pizza with a delicious cheese sauce which Mahak made me eat. It was beautiful heaven! We were able to get a lot of our work done so we got the chance to watch some movies online in the mean time while we just chilled. It was a lot of fun and Mahak and I went crazy after a while! Funny stuff that is unexplainable! In the end we finished and Mahak's mom dropped me off because she was able to. That was good news! I was incredibly excited but sad for the next day for our end of the semester party in ICS the next day!

I keep forgetting!

I forget yesterday again guys!!!! Why? Its just so often!
Anyways, today Mahak and I were able to get the whole thing done. We finished our entire recording and then boom! When we went back to open it, it was all gone! It wouldn't even open the file! Mahak and I were so mad!
Ahhhhh!
At the last minute Mahak and I rushed through it again in exactly 4 min. In the end, Mahak realized that she couldn't even take it home and work on it because her computer wouldn't open older versions of the program. It really sucked! So, we have now decided that we will work our butts off tomorrow. Its going to be a lot of work but I just hope that it's worth it!
Mr.Arkin also told us how our lamination process is going to take place and how we are to print all of our work. We are basically printing them at staples though their website. All the instructions are on the touque website and we just have to follow them. Since Mahak is working on the editing, I will be taking care of the printing and process of the ad. Mr.Arkin also announced that we will be having a party on Friday to celebrate all of our hard work. Yay! I think I'm going to bring some timbits because that way I can just buy them on my way to school or something. Yay! So excited! I wish everyone good luck on their exams too! Wish me luck too!

No fooling around!
I am so lucky because I remembered at the last minute that I still do a daily blog! So I am lucky!
Today, Mahak and I enjoyed a very interesting class where it was all work and no fooling around! We got so much work done in such little time which is something I am really proud of. We were able to finish the final touches on our script and now we only need to edit the script to fit the requirements of Mr.Arkin. It took us a very long time to finish the script and make it so that it came around the time that was expected. Finally we were able to get our script down to 1 minute and 15 seconds. Mr.Arkin said that it was fine if we had it a little over the timing which was actually really lucky too! Mahak and I practiced it through a couple of times before we finally agreed on everything that was in the script and we even started recording. But, it took us a while to get the pitch and we were able to only get through recording the first line since it's our theme music and song. I hope to get a lot more done for tomorrow and to get at least half of our recording done! Wish us luck!

OMG!!!
I am so sorry everyone!!!! I completely forgot that we had to daily blogs because I was so used to the thought of doing culminatings that I completely forgot. Well, to sum up the week Mahak and I began on our major culminating assignment where we chose to do ethical and legal issues. We are creating a debate on Wikileaks and you can find some more information on the Wikispaces page. It is actually going really interesting!!! We are coming up with a lot of creative and exciting ideas. We have finished most of our advertisement and we are also done almost all of our script. We now just need to create our actual broadcast and we are good to go! I am really pumped to start working on filming cause it should be interesting. We also have our exams coming up which I am already starting to study for which happens to be on a Wednesday. It' s also the same day as my French exam which I am actually really scared about since I have two on the same day! That's exactly why I am studying earlier now. Wish me good luck on both my culminatings and exams! Have a good weekend everyone!

Ah, Mosaic!
Warning short blog
Sorry guys but I really want to get back to finishing my mosaic project because I want to go to sleep soon. I am almost done but I still have to edit it and then validate it. Once I finish those, I am done!
Today, Mahak wasn't here . (sob) My BFF wasnt here! I missed her greatly.
What we did in class was take down a note on how Mr.Arkin asks that we write our paragraphs. It was actually pretty helpful. All we did for the rest of the class, was work on our culminating activities where as our mosaic project is being printed tomorrow so it must be finished! I still don't understand why people took so long to finish? Hmmmm.
Okay, I have to go finish. Bye!
