A simple class on a late start day
It was George Boole's birthday today! Today we had a pretty regular class. At the beginning of class, I helped out Mahak a little more until Mr.Arkin started the lesson. Today, in class, we learned about case statements and how they work. It was actually very helpful. Yes, they require a lot of thought to be put into them but yet the are shorter and still perform the same thing. Mr.Arkin asked us to complete an activity that resembles what an ordinary ATM goes through to make transactions. We are to complete it and then also modify it so that it guards against negative numbers. I think that it is like guarding it against zero but just replacing it, asking it to guard against negatives instead. I still have to get started but I have a feeling I won't be doing it tonight since Mahak and I have our DECA examinations tomorrow at school in the library at 3. I am cramming because I still have to take some more notes and then study them. Tomorrow is take your kids to workday so I have to rush all the way from downtown back to the school. I will also have to wake-up early tomorrow so that I can get to the work place in time. I am going to an office building with my grandma (she is not old old). I am excited to go but I am scared for the DECA exam. I really want to win. I am prepared but need some more practice. Have fun everyone with take your kids to work day!
