Back to school fever!

OMG! I forgot about yesterday's blog entry because I had not yet gotten used to the idea of being back to school. I forgot my routine of having to do this daily. So, I will sum up each of the days separately.

Yesterday, was our first day back! The entire day I couldn't stop smiling because I was so happy to see every one's happy and familiar faces. We got to class and as usual logged on to the computers and got down to work. Mr.Arkin explained to us that we would be starting our culminating activities. He explained that their would be more than one (plural) where one would be minor and one would be major. He did not go into the details of our major assignment except that we would be working in groups. Mr.Arkin gave us a thorough explanation of our minor culminating activity which is called the Mosaic project. We were asked to choose a specific subject to write about under the categories that he provided. We were asked to create a web page which displayed an article on this. Mr.Arkin clearly stated that it was very important that we write with professionalism and that our English is very good! It is of high importance. He gave us details on it and we were given class time to pick a topic and then post it up on the new wiki that he created for the culminating. Last night, I knew that I would not be able to work on it because of all the stress coming from my other assignments which were due today. But, I wanted to finish my research. It was set to be due on Wednesday.

Today, we went through the same routine to start off. We quickly sat down and Mr.Arkin explained that we would start our major culminating today. He told us to sign onto wikispaces and see if Mr.Arkin had pointed out a problem with the topic we chose yesterday. Then he asked us to go to the school website and take a look at the new page explaining the assignment. We were given the choice of choosing which assignment we wanted to do. Mahak and I teamed up and chose to do the one named ethical and legal issues under Computer and Society Projects. The rest of the class, we were free to work on our assignments. I was able to work on both.
For homework, my goal is to finish my article, and at least finish typing half of it. I have put aside my homework and finished it all in class so that I would have time to work more on my ICS. I went to sleep at 1 yesterday and woke at 5:30 so I would like to get some sleep. So let's hope I am successful with both.
